Psalm 23:1 “The LORD is m shepherd; I have all that I need.” What a blessing to come to the time in my life to realize God’s complete care of me.

I am pondering Dr. Evans’ statement that everyone has an Isaac. Could that be part of my current situation?

I’m so thankful God reveals Himself to us in his names.

In the 23rd Psalm the metaphor of the shepherd and his sheep is a perfect example of we as Believers and the Good Shepherd. John says Jesus is the Good Shepherd, His sheep know His voice and another they will not follow. We are to follow our shepherd but sometimes we get off the path and follow our own council me-myself-I. The first verse says He is my Shepherd and I shall not want, I love this because to me it means He will meet my every need. I don’t have to come short in any way, I don’t have to wonder if He is there or if He loves me.
