“Small group prayer times are too often hijacked by prayer requests.”
Prayer time is an essential time during any group meeting. Throughout Scripture, communal prayer is practiced and effective. But what we see in Scripture doesn’t always happen during small group gatherings. In Scripture groups of people are praying. They are not spending their time making a list of things to pray for or telling long stories behind the prayer requests. When your group gathers, if you’re going to utilize prayer times effectively—pray.
