The term “accountability” creates astronomical cringe. The truth is, without accountability many people will drift from the practices of a Christ follower, fall into consistent sinful patterns, and devastate their witness and many of the relationships they hold so dear. When compassionate group members agree to hold one another accountable, sin issues are less apt to be ongoing, relationships are protected, and spiritual growth occurs.
