Groups have a tendency to drift from being biblical to being comfortable.

The comfortable group doesn’t deal with conflict when it arises, they ignore it.
The biblical group embraces Matthew 18 and practices biblical conflict resolution.

The comfortable group seldom discusses personal sin.
The biblical group confesses sin to one another so that prayers can be lifted on behalf of one another as the book of James requires.

The comfortable group member is embarrassed and so they are unwilling to share with the group when they have a need.
The biblical group member holds to Acts 2 and tells the group when they have a need so that the group can meet that need.

When groups do life together based on biblical principles and practices, the group experiences Christian community, not just community.
