Quote of the Week: Love Your Leaders

My definition of leadership is, “The ability to obtain and retain followers, organizing them, unifying them, and directing them to accomplish a God-given vision.” No one is a leader who doesn’t have followers and the most effective way to gain followers is to love them. If you want to gain followers, have a heart so full of love that it shows in how you meet their needs, listen to them as they share their hurts, and give them hope when they know nothing but hopelessness.
