“Love verbalized is only believable when acts of love are so routine they are unremarkable.” — Rick Howerton
When leaders tell their groups that they love them, the statement is only believable when acts of love are chronic. Remember this: Being a servant leader — serving your group at every opportunity — is the way to establish that you love the group members you lead. Find an opportunities: Be the first to wash the dishes after snacks, move chairs when the meeting ends, etc., and you’ll have followers who are willing to allow you to hold them accountable for spiritual growth practices.
